i think the thing i loved most about polaroids was being able to give them to people i photographed when i traveled. and the format. and making transfers. now we can shoot images on our smartphones that mimic polaroid and transfers pretty well and we can show images to those we photograph at the back of out digital cameras and phones. something is lost, though.
